VICTIM'S CONDITION LESS FAVOURThe victim of the recent hooligan outrage at Petone, Area Sergeant-Major Millett, who was removed to a private hospital suffering from incipient bloodpoisoning, ie?ulting, it alleged, fioin a blow oil tho breast with some sharp instrument, is progressing less invourably ilian was cxpected. Certain symptoms havo developed since his admission to the private hospital, which have necessitated a surgical operation. This was performed upon the' patient yesterday, and at tho latest reports he was not getting on so well as was at firs'- hoped.
