RANGATIRA'S IMMIGRANTS. One thousand immigrants left England for Fremanllo and Sydney by the Shaw, Savill Ftcamer Kanjatira. At the former port 273 were landed, ajid the remainder (727) were brought on to Sydney. The vessel is due at Dunedin about August 18.

niMITANGI FOR THE CHATHAMS. On August 18 the Chatham Islands Fishinp Company's steamer Himitangi is to leave Wellington for Blackhead. She returns here and leaves again for the Chathum Islands, via Lyttelton, about August 22. The Himitangi will call at the following places at the islands:—Waitangi. Pitt Island, Oweusa, Kaingaroa., Te Wha-karu, Matarakau. Wharekauri, and Whangaroa. WAIMATE DELATED. Owing to labour troubles at Sydney, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer. WAIWERA DUE TO-DAY. This afternoon the Shaw Savill steamer Waiwera is expected to arrive in port from London, via way ports. She anchors in the stream to discharge explosives before berthing. Subscciuontly the vessel leaves New Zealand for Sydney to load wheat for the "United Kingdom or the Continent. TJLIMAROA DUE EARLY.. A wireless message received last night from the Ulimaroa, en route from Sydney to Wellington, stated that the vessel would arrive in the stream at 6.30 a.m. to-day.
