KAITAWA DAIRY FACTORY.

AXXUAL REPORT. The annn:;l report of the Kaitawa Cooperative Dairy Company stabs that during the season 1,562.1471b. of milk vcre received, yielding 57.755.191b. of butter-fat, out of which 151,76.11b. (67} tons) of cheese wero manufactured, which works out at an average of 10.201b. of milk to lib. of cheese, and 2.58'1j. of cheese to lib. of buttor-fat, the average test beiug 3.77 per cent. Owing to the abnormally dry sea'fion tho milk supply fell off very fast, consequently the output was some 12 tons short of last season's figures. The profit and loss account shows a profit of ,£l-14 lis. Gd.. out of which the directors recommended an additional payment of Id. per lb. of butter-fat for September supply, and Id. per lb. of butter-fat for the rest of the season, making a total of IOSd. per 111. for the whole season; also a dividend of (i pei' cent. on paid-up capital.
