WESLEY DEBATING SOCIETY.

One of tho most successful meetings of the Wesleyan Literary and Debating Society was hold in tho Wesley Hall, Taranaki Street, last evening. There were about 150 present, and Mr. J. P. Luke, M.P., presided. During his,remarks, tho chairman stated that praise was duo to tho secretary for making this meeting such a successful one. A humorous and interesting address on "lints and What's in Them was delivered by the Rev. J. G. Chapman. Tho musical part of tho programme was contributed by Miss Mueller and Messrs. A. Wiggins and Johnson. • -
