<) LONDONDERRY DEMONSTRATION. By Tclceraph—l'ress Assaclation-Copyrieht London, August 13. A great demonstration took place in Londonderry, on tlio anniversary of the Relief of Derry. Tile Duke of Abcrcorn telegraphed that he hoped the gathering would prove to the English that Ulster would not permit tho proposed separation of Ireland from the United Kingdom. From April 18, 1690, tho Protestants of Ulster defended themselves within the. Walls of Londonderry, or Derry as tlio town was originally called, against James II until tlu> siege was raised in the following August.
