The chief demonstration over tho passago of tho Parliament Bill was made in the House of Commons, which was discussing Mr. Lloyd-George's motion for payment of members. When tho result of the division in the Lords reached tho House, exultant cheers were given on tho Government benches, tho demonstration being continued until the motion for payment of members was passed. Tho Conservative journals hope that tho Conservatives will now unite to coutinuo tho great struggle ahead. Some papers publish a "black list" of Unionist Peers who voted for tho betrayal of their cause.
