-4— RAILWAY COMPANIES' BUEDENS.' By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright (Eec. August 13, 5.5, p.m.) London, August 12. The North-Eastern Railway Company estimates that the National Insurance Bill will cost them .£35,000 annually. The London and North-Western Company estimates the cost of tho scheme to them at from .£60,000 to .£70,000 a year. The North Eastern Bailway Company has a paid-up capital of .£80,315,040, and its gross ■ receipts for 190 D totalled ■£10,245,764, a net revenue of .£3,770,482 remaining after the deduction of working expenses. A. dividend of-8 per cent, on tho company's ordinary stock was paid in 1909. Tho London and North Western Company lias a capital of .£120,372,465, its gross receipts in 1909 were .£15,451,390, nntl the net receipts, after deducting working expenses, ■£5,5(19,086, tho dividend paid for the year being at tho rato .of £a 17s. 6d. per cent.
