•After detailing his daily duties and declaring that his work extended ov« 16 or 17.hours a day, a witness before tho Dairy Wages Board at Sydney informed the board that he received one Sunday a month as holiday, n> proceeded to'explain that his employer's wifeexpected him on his monthly day of recreation to work in the garden, mind the baby,\peel the potatoes, shell the peas, arxl carry water. Tho witness, a? he detailed his wrongs, drew an indignant breath. He had 2S years' experience as ,i dairy employee, he declared, and he refuted to do such things.
