FIRE AT MIRAMAR.

NO WATER. A firo occurred yesterday afternoon at a fivo-roomed dwelling in Tuuhini Read, Jtiramar. Tho building was owned by tho Jliramar Land Company, and occupied by Jlr. William Footh'cad. It was totally destroyed. Tho contents wero insured for JilUO in the Queensland Com. pany. Tho lire is supposed to have been caused through the airing of clothes in front of tho lire. The side wall of the adjoining building was damaged. Tlio City Firo Brigade wero on the scene, but wero unablo to render full assistance as there was no water available. The adjoining building was saved by means of the chemical adjuncts carried by the brigade.
