SCULLING.
BARRY-FOGWELL RACE. Bγ Telesraph—Press Association-Oonyrieht London, August 9. The newspaper "Sporting Life" states that there is much comment about tho fact that Fogwell's second deposit in connection with his challenge to Barry for the English sculling 'championship,' due on August 3, has not yet bsen made. Both men-continue training. It is believed the hitch will shortly bo'sinoothed over. The "Sportsman" explains that Mr. Seiferfc, Fogwell's principal backer, is in India, and is not due in London until August 27.
