FRENCH MURDERERS SHOT. THOUSANDS WITNESS SPECTACLE. Bj Telecraoh- 'Press Association—Oopyriebl (Kec. August 10, 10.20 p.m.) Paris, August 10. Two sailors have been executed at Toulon riilo range for the. murder of a comrade at Ajaccio, Corsica, iu January last. The murderers robbed their victim of his money, amounting to only three half-pence, and stabbed him forty-three times. The two prisoners, who were unchained, wera tied to stakes with their eyes bandaged, and shot. The execution was witnessed by a gathering of thousands of persons, and a force of threo thousand soldiers and sailors was required to keep the crowd in order. . • When the order to fire was given, the anti-militarists in the crowd attempted a demonstration, but the gendarmes intervened, and a violent scuffle followed.
