WAIRARAPA TRAINS.
The Minister for Railways does uot_setJ his way lo adopt the suggestion of Mr. Hogg .Hint, seeing ho has discontinued tho trial trains between Masterton ami Woodville and substituted a goods train running twice a week, ho should arrange for this train to run on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a passenger carriage attached. Mr. Millar states that special goods trains are run between Masterton and Wocdville to meet emergency trafhc.ouly. Tho days upon which the trains will bo required are therefore uncertain, and it would not suit tho requirements of the business to fix the running for certain days of the week and to adhere thereto. Such a procedure would involve additional specials being laid on to meet emergencies, while on the regular days tho goods trains would in many cavscs have to bo cancelled, or run at a loss. If cancelled, public inconvenience would result. • '
