In reply to an inquiry by Mr. Tudor, Minister for Customs, four of the big shipping companies havo intimated th.it they have no intention of reducing freights noiv that the Suez Canal charges have been lowered. They gave as a reason tho ever-increas-ing demands in Australia in connection with wages.
