ST. DAVID'S, PETONE.

t The annual Congregational meeting of St. David's Presbyterian Church, Petone, held last evening, was well attended. The Rev. A. Thomson occupied the chair. The sessions report stated that the membership roll had increased by 1G during the year, and now stood at 150. During the past twolve months there had been 21 baptisms, 13 marriages, and 9 funerals. The balance-sheet presented showed the finances to be in a healthy state. Tho assets were set down as valued at £3777, and tho liabilities at .£952. The debt on tho church now stood at <£!)00, the amount having been reduced by .£IOO during the year. An election to fill four vacancies ou the committee resulted in the appointment of Messrs. Cody, Green, M'Kean, and Rennie. At the conclusion of the meeting an adjournment was made to the schoolroom, when supper brightened by a few musical items served to bring a pleasant evening to a close.
