BOYS RESCUE HOME.
A well-attended meeting representative of all the cil.y congregations interested in a Church of England Rescue Home for Boys, was held last night. ii\ St. Peter's Schoolroom, and it was decided to take the necessary steps to form such a home! The following board was elected:—The Bishop of Wellington, Archdeacon Harper,, Messrs. Marchant, E. M. Anderson, J. Tripe, Walton, and Jenkins, Mrs..W. B. Hudson, Miss Brown, and Miss Pollen. The sum of .£ls was collected or promised before the meeting closed.
