CONCERNING ENSILAGE.
A correspondent sends the following interesting note from Clarevillo:—"l noticem one, of your issues of lust week, that VVairarapa farmers aro going to experiment with ensilage in the forthcoming season., I should . like .to inform any that contemplate doing so, tliat they can sec, on Air. Archie M'Pliee's farm, near Taratahi Factory, Claroville, ?, stack of inaizu ensilage now in prime cut. There was about JO tons, v.-hicli was cut off about an acre and a half, and it averaged about "ft, high before cutting. The cows rush for it, iiul tlic few that are in milk (two or three) give good results. In fact, the grower is so pleased with it that ho intends going in for more next sfason, and will, T am sure, be pleased to show any one what and how ho did it.
