-- : —-> Mr. > T . M. Nicholls, manager of the AVairarapa Brick, Tile, and Drainpipe Company; lias left Carterton on a healthrecruiting holiday trip. The August issue of the "Xew Zealand Farmer" contains some fine reproductions of successful birds at the recent show uf the South AVairarapa Poultry, Pigeon, and Ce.go Bird Association. Mr. E. J. Kins, who, last season, was manager of Mr. H. R. Bunny's Ahraruhs Cheese Factory, lias, in company with another, taken over a cheese fjctorv at Ashhurst.
In all probability Mr. J. H. M. Hornsby will act as judsc- at the forthcoming contest between the Carterton aad Featherttoa Debating Society,
