MR. J. P. LUKE'S OPINIONS.
Sir-It would be interesting to learn to ivhut-extent', if any, the member for Wellington Suburbs, Mr. J. P. Luke, 11.1., is a man of conxtvijns or principles. On the question of Dominion option he is in favour of the bare majority. On . local option he is a fifty-five per cent' man, or in other words, is' prepared to msult electors by inferring that 15 voles are equal to 55. Though the question 13 purely one of area, why does change his principle when in tho »arger or smaller paddock? If with the largo fielil ho gels • the wider view, will, lie kindly enlighten an elector of his district?—l am, etc., NO WABBLER. August 3, 11111.
