A conference, of farmers held at Horrellville to-day discussed'tho grass grub.- It was stated that tho profits of farmers had been 'decreased by 5(1 per cent, as the result of the ravages of the grub. The. only suggestion as to how to cope wilh tho grub that was considered as likelv to be of aiiv use was th:it small birn's should be allowed a free hand for a year or two.
