MR. MASSEY STATES'IT. Writing to the editor of the Wairarapa "Daily Times," Mr. Massey, Leader of the Opposition, makes reference to a letter which appeared a couple of weeks ago asking whether, if his proposed reforms were brought about, the working men of the Dominion would be prejudicially affected. To this ho replies:—"Mr. Rovells inquiry seems perfectly genuine, and I am Klad to have the opportunity of telling him that our proposals do not include Hie cutting down of the workmen's wages. On the contrary, our aim is to do everything we possibly can to- ensure good times, goad wages, and ccjual opportunities for all."
