■ T ■* THE FIGHT-FOE RECIPROCITY. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copymht Ottawa, August 1. The Primo Minister, Sir Wilfrid Lauricr, in his election address, recites the history of the Reciprocity movement, declaring that the present Conservative party seeks to reverse the policy of its great leader, Sir John Macdonald. Sir-Wilfrid Laurier denies that Reciprocity is likely to lead to the annexation of Canada by flic United States. He adds that British prefereucc will be maintained. The Conservatives express themselves confident of sweeping British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario. It is expected that Sir Wilfrid Laurier will hold Quebec, but the unpopularity of his naval policy will probably cost him some seats.
