The quantity of butter in cool stores in New Zealand at the cad of the month just closed was, according to the official Teturn, '4717 boxes, as against 16,591 for tha corresponding period last year. The nre-. ssnt total is made up as under:—Auckland, 220"); New Plymouth, .313; Patoa, 230; Wellington, 1510; Lyttolton, 100; Dunedin, 239.
