STATEMENT BY THE HON. T. MACKENZIE. (Hj Tclcsratiii-Prcsd Association.! Duncdin, August 1. Speaking to-night at a complimentary social tendered him at Green Island by his constituents, tho Hon. T. Mackenzie referred to a '(al-ement which appeared in the pies* relative lo information being obtained abxii the decisions of (lie boundary commissioners by Cabinet Minister.-, who used it for electioneering purposes, and gave it n ni>st emphatic denial. It was to be deplored, he said, that almost every move liiey made ivas converted into *micthiiig dishonourable. He was sure that the country was sjok and tired of the excuse and distortion and contortion of constituencies. The question of community of interest was entirely done away with • becau«o they had to fix thrir boundaries on such a harrow margin of population. Tho country was tired of the system, and tho sooner it was rectified the better.
