The polico were Arresting a striker when they were charged by the mob. The police fired their revolvers in tho air and temporarily subdued the crowd. There was a fresh outbreak at the lockup. Stones were thrown, and a call to rescue the prisoner was made. The disturbance subsequently subsided.
