rWO CANDIDATES IN. THE FIELD. (By Telegraph—Prose Association.! Christchurch, July 31. The Prohibition party leaders have raquested the Rev. L. M. Isjtt to bo a candidate for tho Christchurch North seat, rendered vacant by the death of Mr. T. E. Taylor, and-he has consented to do so. Mr. J. D. Hall will bo the Opposition candidate. Tho Labour party meet on Friday to consider tho matter of the selection of a candidate.
