GAME AT FORIRUA. Tho Manawatu Representative Association team which has just returned after a lour in the South, journeyed out ->to Porirua yesterday, and played a friendly gonie with the Hospital team. In the first half the Hdspital team were irresistible, and scored lio fewer than 5 goals, one being a penalty, but, in the second spell, Manawatu livened up somewhat, and scored three goals to thoir opponents' one. For Hospital Roots (5) and Jones (1) put on the goals, while for the visitors. Harper scored two and Hughes one. Th* visitors were entertained at lunch and tea. and, before leaving for home, expressed themselves as being agreeably surprisp-d at tho high standard of play displayed by the Hospital men. TheV hops to again try conclusions with the Porinia men before the season ends.
