LODGE MEETING.
4 — The usual weekly session of the Eclipse Lodge of Good Templars was held last Friday evening. Bro. 11. Morns, 0.1.., presided over a large attendance. Iwo new members were initiated and one other readmitted. A motion of sympathy was tendered to Sis. L. Hansen on the loss of her mother. A similar motion was also passed to the widow and tamily of tho late Mr. T. E. Taylor, M.P., Christchurch. A report of the recent District Lodge meeting was received. The election of officers resulted a> follows Bro. M. Morris (re-elected); V.T., Sis. A. Harris (re-elected); secretary, Bro. J. Donn (re-elected); financial secretary, Bro. A. ])ryden; treasurer, Sis. A. Wright; chaplain, Sis. N .Herdraan (reflected); mar- • shal, Bro. C. Luxton; guard, Bro. L. Goodgcr; sentinel, Bro. W. J. Bonham; P.C.T., Bro. It. Harris; deputy-marshal, Sis. ITanscn. The newly-elected officers constitute the new harmony committee, and . also the anniversary committee. At tho next meeting the installation of offij cer9 will take place.
