TRIBUTE TO SIR ELDON GOEST.

Speaking in the House of Commons, Sir Edward Grey, Secretary of State for foreign Affairs, paid a high tribute to the late Sir Eldon Gorst, British Agent in Egypt. Before further reforms were effected in Egypt, he continued, tho views pf the men on the spot , must be ascertained. Lord Kitchener .would be given time to survey the situation. Hia appointment did not imply the adoption of a reactionary policy.
