■Sir,—ln reviewing tho recent behaviour of tho Hon. R. M'Konzio, ono must of a necessity como to tho 'conclusion that tho autocratic methods, of tho present Government havo gone far enough. •They seem to think that tliey own ■■ their positions by some Divino gift, aln tho l\aiser. No doubt, however, tho electors are fully aware that tho present side-stepping Govornment has outlived its usefulness, anil will show.. their hand by refusing to support any-Government candidate at tho coming elections and plumping solidly tor tho Opposition.
