A MILITARY LIBRARY. LENDING AND REFERENCE . BRANCHES. A District Order by Colonel E. W. C. Chaytor, Commanding the Wellington District, states that it has been decide 1 to organist a district library, controlled by a committee, consisting of tho following officers:—President, Colonel E. W. £; _ Cna rt° r -' Mombers:-Tho General Staff Officer of the district (Captnin J. Cochrane). Colonel A. H. Russell, Colonel L. W. Tate, Captain J. T. BoswortL, librarian, Captain S. V. Trask. The main object is to provide a good lending and reference library for officers throughout this district. Tho postage ou books loaned to officers will bo defrayed as follows: ironv the library to the officer, to be paid by District Headquarters; from the othcer to the library, to be paid by the officer concerned; An officer who loses •< book vail bo required to replaeo it at his own expense, The following is a list of the books available:—
