THE POLICE EVADED. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyrieht New York, July 26. "Bobbie" Leach, evading the police, entered the Niagara River in a steolbarrel, and was carried over the Horseshoo Falls, reappearing a few seconds later. Part of the end'of the barrel ivas damaged. Lfcach was rescued fifteen minutes lata.. His kneecap was broken, and ho was badly bruised, but otherwise uninjured.
