GREYTOWN FRUIT-GROWING.
A stiocpssful season is reported by the 'Greytown Fruit-growing Co., Ltd., in tho ; animal report,' to be presented at tho ineotiug on' Friday' evening. The report states that all the trees in the orchard are in excellent condition, and have made pood growth, and tho Government orchard inspectors and all expert orchardists have expressed themselves as highly pleased with the growth made, and the general appearance of tho trees and orchard. Cross shelter beds have been planted, and tho trees in the boundary "belt that wero not .satisfactory have been replaced) The Kixty acres which have been prepared are now being planted, nnd in addition to the Stunner pippin and Jonathan, both Munro's Favourite and Cox's orange have been included. Tho retiring directors are Messrs. Vt. C. Buchanan, M.P.-, W. H. Day, and R. VC. Tate, who retire by effluxion of time, and Sir. T. M'Cracken, who has resigned. The h'rst-uained throe aro eligible for re-election. Messrs. H, Dud- . ding and 11, Olifent are tho retiring auditors.
