MINERS' GRIEVANCES.
A STRIKE IN PROSPECT. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyriehl London, July 23.. A ballot of the Northumberland miners resulted in a decision in favour of a strike against the three-shift system. The voting was as follows:— For the strike 19,516 Against 9,259 Majority 10,257 A large majority voted against the proposal to establish pit-head baths.
