Wc have all heard how President Taft once gave up his seat in a car to three ladies. It is also said that when the President' goes to a theatre ho always books two seats for himself. One evening at a theatre he presented his tickets as usual. Tho attendant looked at the tickets and then at the President. "Oh," said the President, "I've taken two tickets so that I can spread myself a little." "Well," was tho reply, "i reckon you can spread yourself to some advantage to-night; the scats arc on cither side of the gangway."
