KELBURNE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

The third annual report of the Kelbnrno Presbyterian Church, to bo presented to the congregational mooting this evening-, shows that during the year thirty-six new ineinbers were added to (lie communion, roll, which now- numbers St in all. The report states that the various organisations connected with the congregation arc in a healthy condition. The SundaySchool, under the superintendence of Mr. 11. D. Uiocott, has til scholars, with ;m average attendance, -of 42. The young men's and young women's Bible Classos have a total of .10 members. The financial position of the church is satisfactory, there having been a substantial increase in tho amount contributed during the past year, as compared with the previous year. A sole of work held in September last by the Ladies' Guild resulted in a donation of over ,£IOO to the church funds. An important event in Ihe history of tho congregation was the erection of a manse, which was completed early jn the prevent year, and which is a handsome and commodious residence. The growth of the congregation will, if is considered, soon give rise to the problem of providing more accommodation, and a larger churchroom will be necessary. A loss was sustained during the year in the removal to Christchurch of Jlr. .John Ooughloy, who iris superintendent of the Sunday School and a member of the session. The report expresses satisfaction that (he initial difficulties connected with the formation of the congregation have been overcome, and that it is now firmly established. The church gives every promise of n .successful future under the able care of its minister, tho Kev. A. C. W. Standage, M.A.
