Ottawa, July 21. Forest fires are reported to threaten iwo Nova Scotian towns.
The fight against the flames seems hopeless.
SIXTY-SEVEN LIVES LOST IN ALBERTA. (Eec. July 23, 5.5 p.m.)
Ottawa, July 23. The recent forest fire disasters in the Porcupine district in Alberta are believed to havo been caused by men throning down cigarettes.
The deaths are known to total sixty :oven.
