Campbell, Opposition candidate for Hawke's Bay, convened a meeting of his supporters on Friday night. About'fifty persons attended, and Mr. George Laud was appointed chairman. Mr. Campbell outlined his platform, which was fully discussed, and unanimously agreed to. Permanent committee rooms have been set up, and it is evident that the candidate's friend? will be responsible for a well-organised and strongly-fought campaign.
