SHIELD MATCH THIS AFTERNOON. The Hawke's Bay representatives will play Wellington for tho shield at Day's Bay this afternoon. Tho visitors are reported to be a fairly strong combination, and a close game should result. The following are the teams:— Hawko's Bay-Goalkeeper: Tomoana. Strack; left-wing loader. . A PRESENTATION. At the Occidental Hotel yesterday, Mr. H. O. Shattley, the centre-forward of the Hawkes Bay team, received a presentation from the team on the occasion of his approaching marriage. Mr. E. V. C Harris, tho manager of tho team, made the presents lion-an oak salad bowl and spoons-and the captain, Mr. M'Goldrick, fn, »'iJ- Anderson, a fellow-member of the Albion (Napier) Hockey Club, adde<l their congratulations.
