A serious accident during a wedding at Bury St. Edmunds took place recently. The driver of a carriage'containing weilding guests fell from his box, and a wheel passed over him, breaking his ribs. The uncontrolled horse, taking fright, dashed off at a wild pace, collided with another carriage, and, after charging a crowd of onlookers at the church, crashed into the gates. Two women were knocked down, and Florence Macro was taken to hospital with a broken leg.
