THE HUTT CLUB. The ladies of the Hutt Golf Club held a competition on Wednesday for tho Riddiford medal and club silver button (bogy), and this resulted in a tie for first.place bv Miss Stuart-Forbes and Mrs. Coverdale, each "all square." They were fol: lowed by Miss Cook, one down, and Mrs. Bridge, three down. On Saturday next a team of men from the Otaki Club will play the return match 'against Hutt.cn the Hutt links. The Hutt team will be picked from the following:—Balnea vis, Climie. Stephens, Hurst, Freeth, Callender, Abbott, Allan, Wagg, Wynyard, Turner, Murphy, .Spencer, Hudson, and Eobieson.
