CENSURE MOTION IN NEW SOUTH WALES.
SETTLERS AND THE FREEHOLD. fij Telceraph-Press Association-CcnrrlElil (Rec. July 21, 0.25 a.m.) Sydnoy, July 20. In the Legislative Assembly Mr. Wade, Leader of the Opposition, gave notice of a censure motion: That the declared policy of the Government that in tho proposed repeal of tho Conversion Act they will not preserve in their entirety the rights of all those persons now entitled to convert their holdings, thereby repudiating a statutory contract; that the further obstacles placed in tho way of intending occupants of Crown lauds who may be desirous of acquiring the freehold ; that the further discontinuance of resumptions under the Closer Settlement Acts; and that tho proposal to deprive workers of the right to acquire freeholds in connection with their holhes tend to embarrass persons engaged in rural' pursuits and discourage laud settlement, and aro inimical to the best interests of the State. The House has adjourned until Tuesday,
