FORECAST AND SUMMARY. Present indications are for rain and boisterous weather generally. Heavyrain expected on the East Coast of the North Island, and rivers rising shortly. Easterly and northerly winds, strong to gale, aro probable generally, and a falling barometer expected evcrywliere. Tho barometer has fallen everywhere, mid especially in the northern districts, whero easterly winds, strong to gale, have prevailed, and cloudy and showery weattter.
