July 19, 10.30 p.m.) London, July 10. Mr. Christian Botha, an Opposition member who sits for Pretoria in tho South African Union Parliament, on being interviewed in London denounced tho "Volkstom's" uttcranco as most dangerous, and entirely opposed to tho maintenance of the Empire, and antagonistic to tho interests of tho Dominions. Ho confidently hoped that General Botha would disavow tho "Volkstcm's" standpoint at an early date. Sir. Botha added that in the event of war the enemy's assent would bo necessary before a Dominion would lie allowed to remain neutral.
