ROYAL VISIT TO SCOTLAND.
A LEVEE AT HOLYROOD. By TeleEraph—Press Association -ivrwriuu London, July IS. King George has presented new colours to the Royal Company of Archers, his Scottish bodyguard. Subsequently his Majesty held a great levee at Holyrood Palace. The honour of knighthood was conferred upon the Right Hon. William Slater Brown, Lord Provost of Edinburgh, and Dr. Thomas Hunter, LL.D., W.S., the Town Clerk. King George has contracted a slight cold.
