STATUES IN LONDON. B j TekcraDh—Press Aseociatloi—Copyrlzh* London, July 17. The King Edward Memorial Committee has agreed to erect a statue of , the late King at tho Piccadilly end of the Broad Walk in tho Green Park. Tho Government, King George, and Queen Alexandra have expressed approval of this proposal. It has also been decided to erect a statue at the East End of London. Tho Advisory Committee will obtain designs and select n sculptor. A proposal to select a sculptor by competition was rejected.
