IMPENDING CHANGE ON MOKOIA. ' At this present -tiroo (be Union Compnny'ts Eaj/. Coast, trader Mokoia is fitted with hydraulic gear, which i» used for working cargo. On her r.sst trip to Dunediu the Mokoia, is to undergo overhaul, and it is the intention of the company to take tho hydraulic machinery ont of her. and put in ten steam Mnchcs to work her five hatches instead. 11 is understood that, the forward part of the vessel will be fitted up first. Tho remaining work is to bo done later. On Thursday the Tyscr liner Star of India is expected in port from London via Auckland and Xapier. Now discharging at Wellington, Uio Union Company's collier Komata, goes to Westport to-night to load again for Wellington. Sho is duo back at the end of this week.
