IMPENDING CHANGE ON MOKOIA. ' At this present -tiroo (be Union Compnny'ts Eaj/. Coast, trader Mokoia is fitted with hydraulic gear, which i» used for working cargo. On her r.sst trip to Dunediu the Mokoia, is to undergo overhaul, and it is the intention of the company to take tho hydraulic machinery ont of her. and put in ten steam Mnchcs to work her five hatches instead. 11 is understood that, the forward part of the vessel will be fitted up first. Tho remaining work is to bo done later. On completion of her overhaul, th 3 Mokoia, i , is stated, is to go over to the "other side" to relieve the Paloona in the Sydne.v-Hoba.rt running, and Ilio Paloona is to bo engaged in the East Coast trade. On Thursday the Tyscr liner Star of India is expected in port from London via Auckland and Xapier.
