Prido of Brooklyn U.A.O.D. held their fortnightly meeting: at the Masonic lfall, Brooklyn, on July 13, Bro. J, Benge, A.D., being in tho chair. A largo number of brethren were present. Various reports were adopted. A good discussion took place upon various topics for tho weiiaro of; the Order. Bro. .1. Benge was granted three months', leave of absence. As show, ing the interest being taken in the lodge, it may be mentioned that several brothers had friends to propose for A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Hits. Solomon, .1.V.A., Melrose, Cross (Wangamii), and i'ryke (Island Hay). The opportunity was taken _ lo • present a sash, donated by livo, Kcid, for tho brother introducing the most new members during the term, the sash having been won by Bro. Uenge. P.T\ Bro. Boock was asked to make the preVentntion. Bro. Benge subsequently offered lo present another sash for a like purpose, which offer was accepted with thanks. Messrs. H. I'. Mr. .Tolm M'Vay, Hastings Street, Napier, invites inspection of his extensive stock of saddlery and harness of every description. Messrs. Abraham and Williams advertise an unreserved sale of dairy slock at Shannon on Tuesday, July 25.
