In tho international Sports contests Oxford and Cambridge Lniversities defeated Yale and Harvard by five events to four. , . SOME FURTHER RESULTS. (Rec. July 12, 11.15 p.m.) London, July 12. In the inter-university athletic contest America won tho hurdles, Chisholra's .time of 15 2-ssec. being an inter-university record. America also won the. liicch and lons jumps and the Jialf-inilc race. Tho English teams' won the hammerthrowing, the lflfl yards, the quarter-mile, the mile, and the two mile races. There was great enthusiasm on the English winning tho filial event.
