At a conference hold at Roubnix, a hnndred delegates, representing the woolspinners and manufacturers of Europe, unanimously resolved that a largo proportion of growers did not sufficiently realiso tho danger of vegetable matter entering the wool from inferior bogs. Spinners and buyers were recommended to declare that they would buy only wools packed in proper bags, commencing with (ho season 1912-1013. It was mentioned that New South Wales was tho chief offender. A deputation waited upon Sir George Reid, Australian High Commissioner, on this question.
