NATIONAL INSURANCE BILL.
A NEW MODIFICATION. By TeleeriDta-Fress Association-CosyrlshV (E«s. July 12, 0.20 a.m.) London, July 11. In the House of Commons yesterday, Mr. Lloyd-George, Chancellor of the Exchequer, outlined his proposal to modify the National Insurance Bill in tho case of agriculturalists, domestics, nurses, and . clerks, whose employers pay them wages j during illness. Mr. Lloyd-George proposes that these , employers' wage-earners shall pay a j penny apiece less, thereby eliminating , temporary sick benefit under the Bill, but leaving tho provision for permanent sickness, and tho sanatorium and maternity benefits untouched.
